I am a Ph.D. Student in the Department of Computer Science at North Carolina State University (NCSU) since Fall 2018. I joined the Game2Learn Lab at NCSU supervised by Dr. Tiffany Barnes in 2018.

My research interests revolve around Data Mining, Data Analytics, AI, Educational Games, Intelligent Tutors and Applications of Machine Learning. I am currently involved with the iSnap and Deep Thought project. iSnap is an intelligent and interactive block-based programming environment, whereas Deep Thought is an intelligent logic tutor that teaches logic proof construction. The aim of this project is to explore different intelligent learning support features and to analyze the impact of those features.

Previously, I worked in the ST Math project where I applied machine learning and data driven methods on students’ sequential gameplay data to understand patterns in gameplay and learning with an aim to find out how the game can be used to ensure better learning.
